Hi everyone. Please join us for our paint out this weekend, Saturday Sept. 26 AND Sunday Sept. 27 from 8am to noon at LeRoy Oakes Preserve on Dean Street in St. Charles. The leaves are turning and LROakes offers a number of really beautiful vistas for all walks of artists. There are gorgeous stands of oak trees, paths, Ferson Creek, farm buildings, a historic schoolhouse and across the road is a native prairie lying alongside the Illinois Prairie path spur that runs out to Sycamore.

The preserve is really easy to get to - it lies right along the west side of Randall Road in St. Charles - just north of Route 64. Go west on Dean St. and you're there in under a minute.

I'll be out there both days - I'll try to park somewhere in the vicinity of the farm and schoohouse. I have a gold Saturn.
